Summary

The Sales Account Administrator is responsible for selling Xtend and partner products and services to targeted Credit Unions and customers. This position works closely with clients to determine needs and coordinates with appropriate Xtend staff to meet those needs.

Job Functions

  1. Seek out, call upon and demonstrate products to targeted clients. Work with clients to determine needs and goals, and develop customized proposals, which address these needs. Follow up on sales efforts to close the sale.
  2. Develop and implement an aggressive new prospect program, to actively seek out and establish contact with new potential clients.
  3. Maintain follow up activities with current clients to assist with problem-solving, as well as introduce additional Xtend products and services wherever appropriate.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of Xtend products and services, as well as how to relate the benefits of each product to an individual client's needs.
  5. Maintain the Salesforce database to ensure correct and updated information.
  6. Maintain a positive contribution as a member of the Business Support teams, and complete all tasks assigned by management to meet team objectives.

Qualifications

  1. High School graduate or equivalent is required.
  2. Strong written and verbal skills is required.
  3. Two-year degree in marketing/business-related field or equivalent work experience is ideal.
  4. Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively with external clients and internal staff.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Professional appearance and demeanor.
  7. Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.
  8. Experience in selling and marketing products to the credit union/banking industry, or other applicable sales experience is preferred.
