The Merchandise Planning Manager will drive the business through strategic merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, actionable reporting, and insightful commercial analysis. We are looking to build an industry leading, digitally enable & integrated, end-to-end planning & analysis team which thinks commercially, connects across functions, and delivers efficient merchandise processes.?
Financial Management Create pre-season financial plans and ongoing forecasts for each department down to style, color & size level Develop, manage and forecast the Open to Buy (OTB) Develop and manage strategies with Merchants, Wholesale and Marketing for sales, and inventory by department? Identify sales opportunities through effective strategic planning and execution that achieve financial targets Identify opportunities as well as potential risks to increase sales, margin and turn Drive allocation to stores with deep level analysis to maximize sales opportunities
? Inventory Management Analyze trends and seasonality, adjusting forecasts, receipts and inventory levels as needed to support plans Manage flow, velocity, priority and age of our replenishment and fashion products across multiple channels Partner with Merchants to continually manage inventory through in-season analysis, reducing our inventory liabilities and in identifying opportunities for re-orders Review seasonal buys with Merchants (reviews focused on quantities by SKU, ensuring buys are within budgets) Work closely with our wholesale partners to maximize replenishment opportunities, grow doors and assortment Work closely with our Production partners to build style level buys down to size Develop, collect, and analyze weekly reporting from all channels and provide KPI?s to senior team
Requirements: Bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related field 6 years of retail merchandise planning experience; Minimum 4 years? experience involving sales and inventory planning, sales forecasting, and OTB?and?2 years of prior supervisory experience Demonstrated decision-making ability Ability to partner and influence cross-functional partners Ability to lead and inspire team through training and development Highly proficient in Excel Highly effective written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, conceptual and retail math skills Thorough knowledge of planning systems?
