The North America, brand aligned, Project Manager for Merchandising is responsible for managing NA merchandising projects and applying principles, practices and techniques to implement and drive process, schedule and cost to highlight and manage performance risks to ensure satisfaction of the NA Region. They manage all programs in partnership with the Retailer s Visual Operations teams to our Brand partners and Corporate functions from ideation, execution and production. Focused on meeting project commitments and advocating on behalf of the NA Region, including reporting next steps and risks to stakeholders, and provide corrective supervision and recommendations. They create within the enlarged NA Corporate Groups a sense of ownership of programs promoting mutual support and interaction to achieve common goals with our internal (Branded Creative Ops, Marketing, Finance, NACOPS, GCT etc) and external (Display Vendors, Print Vendors, Retailer s Visual Operation teams, etc) partners. Key Roles & Respondsibilities: Analyze brand s marketing strategy to anticipate and calendarize North America merchandising programs (NPL, seasonal calendar / marketing briefs, etc) In alignment with Retailer Guidelines/Timelines/Visual Operation teams create, drive and manage collateral timetables for Brand partners to set due dates for, but not limited to: Final Design, Competitive Bidding, GMW Offerings, Development Milestones, Prototype reviews and Logistical Requirements for cost effective and timely execution Comprehensive understanding of the Specialty Multi Channel and Visual Merchandising Distribution to implement Best Practices and Speed to Market with operational excellence Must be able to balance the needs of the North America region within a global brand environment, successfully balancing protecting brand identity and ensuring local relevance Demonstrates influential leadership; respects and incorporates the requirements of the Brand, Corporate partners, Vendors and Retailer Operations to cascade progress, elevate risks and provide solutions to all stakeholders Ensure scope for each merchandising project is captured during project initiation; including budget, design variants, on-counter dates etc to limit scope creep Conduct regular meetings and produce ongoing status reports, track progress, and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately, or take timely action to mitigate delays Proven change agent; comfortable navigating through ambiguity and complexity; ability to swiftly mobilize team to meet changing demands Provide education regarding operational/supply chain implications and ramifications by working closely with NACOPS to ensure timely allocation of NA programs Qualifications Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, time management and problem-solving skills Clear understanding of the Merchandising process and Retailer organization/distribution Ability to be agile and nimble with ever shifting priorities Infectious positive energy, self-motivated and results-oriented Multi-task, prioritize and manage complex projects across teams and regions Align stakeholders, highlighting risk in a proactive manner to move program/process forward Must possess a sense of urgency, entrepreneurial working style, strong organizational skills and extremely detail oriented Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel \\#LI-HC1 Job: Creative / Design Primary Location: Americas-US-NY-New York Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift We are an equal opportunity employer.
