This role primary responsibility is to effectively grow the HTAS businesses with our current identified I/C, 2-Step and new distribution accounts and determine what products their customers should support and what best fits the needs of our target contractors within the market. Understanding and implementing promotional activity, merchandising, training, and rebate management is essential. Whether you're continuously hunting and prospecting for new business or growing existing accounts, you'll consult with customers to identify their business challenges and recommend tailored solutions to solve them-and ultimately, build their business and ours.
Essential Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related fields
5+ years experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies
Jobsite or construction knowledge preferred
Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook;
Ability to collaborate with the appropriate internal team members to resolve problems that arise with the end users in your region.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in using SAP/BW
Proven track record delivering results
Demonstrated time management skills, ability to set priorities is required
Valid Driver's License
Physical Ability to travel dailyUp to 50% Local TravelUp to 10% Overnight Travel
Prospecting and Solution Selling
Achieve top line sales targets and standard margin budgets
Be the accessory expert in selling of DEWALT HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, PROTO, IRWIN brands to our key IC distributor partners and targeted users.
Drive sales through training, demos, merchandising, marketing, event selling, conversion and promotion.
Support and help implement marketing promotions and programs to assigned AM s and customer base. Help develop and execute account plans with markets largest customers & users
Establish and develop key relationships with high profile distributor partners, help with planning, training, marketing & merchandising, conversion activities & planning to get these key customers
to minimum double-digit growth.
Drive end user engagement through sales calls, follow ups, meetings, and LMT involvement
Product Knowledge & Training
Coordinate and participate in successful trade shows & events with key distributors
Provide support to end-users on product training through educational and safety seminars as needed
Gain expertise on channel-specific pricing structures, programming, rebates etc
Understand and monitor sales and market opportunities to increase business and profitability
Plan, organize, and schedule territory development.
Manage your business within assigned T&E & TF budgets
Implement strategic planning and execution related to new product lines launch and sell thru
