houses a strong in-house creative agency, a direct sales force, and a

university for hairdressers and salon owners.

PositionSummary: The

Regional Business Consultant (RBC) is a field sales position responsible for

developing sales and relationships with salons and prestige retailers assigned

in their territory, as well as developing new business openings within their

market.

Responsibilities:

  • Achievea high level of performance (100% and above) to the sales goals of assignedterritory.

  • Deliverexemplary support and drive sales within the Salon and Retail Channel

  • Createsix month business plans with salon/retail accounts to reach sales goals

  • Negotiateterms for placement and increased market share in retail space

  • Providemarketing collateral and merchandise products for strong visual representation

  • Plan,manage, and participate in Retail and Salon Events as driven by event/launchcalendar

  • Provideinstruction on best practices for service and retail in alignment w/BusinessImmersion programs

  • Manageoptimum inventory levels at accounts with a comprehensive consulting approach

  • Createplans for attendance at Bumble and bumble University for owners, managers, andstylists

  • Developthe role of the Network Educator in salons, and support their educationinitiatives

  • Supportsales through Bumble and bumble Education

  • Planand execute education within salons and retailer?s business as established bythe corporate guidelines

  • Newproduct launches and re-promotes

  • Promoteand facilitate attendance at Bumble and bumble University for owners, managers,and stylists

  • Developthe role of the Network Educator in salons, and support their educationinitiatives

  • Managethe Bumble.LIVE program

  • Planfor as part of Business Building program

  • Facilitatein-salon/In-store events with Educator

  • Scheduleand facilitate regional events to draw multiple accounts

  • Achievea high level of performance (100% and above) in new business development withinassigned territory

  • Workwith the New Business Team to cultivate and drive quality leads and prospectsto opening order

  • Maintaina weekly prospect report highlighted with current weeks activities and nextsteps

  • Setup, launch, and grow the new business from the opening order forward

  • Workindependently from a home office, while managing a consistent meeting calendarwith accounts

  • Meetonce per month (minimum) with Tiers 1 & 2 and every 6-8 weeks with Tier 3& 4

  • Scheduleone office day per week.

  • UseBb Relationship Management software to maximize effectiveness

  • Manage90-day calendar and enter salon activities in advance

  • Logall activities and salon meeting notes weekly.

  • Managebusiness development budgets

  • Carstock budgets for promotional and merchandising activities

  • BusinessBuilding program budgets with accounts

  • Knowledge,Skills & Abilities:

  • Provenability to drive sales, build relationships, and excel in new businessdevelopment

  • Strongcommunication (written and oral) and presentation skills

  • Computerskills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and general comfort with new programs

  • Qualifications

    Educationand Experience:

  • Undergraduatedegree

  • 5years? experience in relationship based sales in the salon and/or retailindustry

  • Outsidesales salon industry experience a plus

  • Travel-Varies by territory geography, from 25% up to 80%. Evening and weekend work required.
