As a member of the Global Commercial team, the role provides support needed to drive MAC's global retail footprint. The role will help evolve MAC's global retail marketing approach, as informed by brand's channel strategy and merchandising & assortment planning across key markets. Additionally, to enable local retail marketing teams in translating global guidance into executable actions, the role will support Global Commercial through analysis of relevant data to which retail marketing strategies are based. In collaboration across Global Commercial, Marketing, SD & VM and Education, the role will provide input and facilitate seamless integration and consistency in consumer experience across retail and digital activation. The role will also manage global KPI's to monitor success and progress, collect and facilitate learning across regions.
Support execution of assortment strategy by channel
Retail data insights to action by channel, category, region and key corridor
Manage assortments by channel and region ensuring timelines are met
Monthly reporting of KPI's by channel and workstream
Analysis and tracking of merchandising costs by channel and region
Global retail marketing execution
Support commercial and merchandising team in business review for seasonal adddelete process
Support from a merchandising perspective the evolution of new product development based on consumer and data insights
Analysis of impact of new products (i.e. new launches, samples, mini's, kits and bundles)
to basic and heroes
Analysis and recommendations of changes to merchandising (I,e, planogram positioning, graphics and benefit communication) and impact to the business.
Ad hoc reporting and presentation support on strategic projects
KEY INTERNAL & EXTERNAL LINKAGES:
Regional Retail Marketing & Brand Teams
Visual Merchandising and Store Design
Consumer Insights and Analytics
Ideal candidate will have at least year experience as a financial analyst or comparable experience
Solid experience in data analysis and financial modeling
Experience in DTC and omni-channel marketing strategy preferred
Experienceinterest in consumer goods preferred
InternationalRegionalMulti-cultural experience preferred
Understanding of consumer behaviors and insights analytic practices
Knowledgeable of merchandising concepts
Creative & resourceful, can operate with limited resources and find solutions to deliver business needs
Intellectual flexibility, manage several projects at a time
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field
Naturally curious and passionate about numbers, data, insights and applications to retail marketing
Strategic business mindset and strong commercial acumen
Collaborative mindset, consumer centric, strong passion for service and drive to results.
Entrepreneurial work ethic, with strong interpersonal skills and relationship oriented.
