Processing Team Lead- Mansfield, TX Shops at Broad The Processing Team Lead is primarily responsible for leading the CORE operations processes in the store including prepping the dock area, unloading trailers and processing the merchandise. The Processing Team Lead is expected to achieve operations timelines and Carton per Hour (CPH) and Units per Hour (UPH) goals. The lead reports directly to the Operations Team Manager and serves as a key holder for the store. IND3 Essential Functions: * Lead the C.O.R.E process and Processing Team * Support the OTM in various operations functions related to inventory control such as accepting truck manifests, returns to vendor, transfers, mail outs/delivery, store supplies ordering, etc. * Follow recycling guidelines * Dependability and flexibility with workload and schedule * Key holder * Attend all store meetings and training sessions as scheduled * Maintain a neat and professional appearance in compliance with the current dress code * Agree to work in other areas or complete assigned duties as requested * Assist in initial training of new associates when requested and assigned * Follow all safety and risk management guidelines and policies Receiving Preparation: * Plan ahead and properly prep receiving area for expected merchandise * Prep whiteboard communications with manifest information and other needed items * Assign associate roles during the receiving (unload and sort), merchandise processing/prepping, and stocking process and ensure that they completely understand each of their functions Oversee Receiving Process: * Understand and direct the process of receiving and processing new merchandise * Maintain the cleanliness and organizational standards for the receiving area and stockroom * Develop and work from a daily prioritized workload plan * Help create an environment that encourages cooperation and collaboration from all team members * Monitor execution and respond to deficiencies * Complete whiteboard communications before leaving for the day Education / Experience Requirements: Position Contribution Level : Entry Level Minimum Education & Experience: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Read and speak English * Ability to read and adhere to all policy and procedure manuals Preferred Education & Experience: Knowledge / Skills Requirements: Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift between 10 lbs to 72 lbs at floor level and/or team lift when necessary * Ability to push or pull 100 lbs to 500 lbs carts to sales floor * Ability to operate a computer * Ability to work unsupervised * Ability to stand for long periods of time Reporting Relationships: Supervisor : Operations Team Manager Supervises : Disclaimer: For reasonable accommodation information for an ADAAA qualified disability please see Belk Associate Handbook for policy and procedures.
