We are seeking a Social Media Manager to manage an established yet still growing social media presence, developing our community and ensuring Anthropologie delivers innovative and best-in-class experiences within the social media space.
Together with the Creative Director, the Social Media Manager is responsible for the look, feel and sound of Anthropologie s social media channels. The right candidate will have a strong interest in social media and the commercial impact it has. You should be up to speed on all new and developing social media and digital innovations. You will ensure that Anthropologie s social platforms are consistent in look and feel and at generating buzz and excitement, driving new and existing customers to the both stores and site. The ability to create unifying story-arcs across multiple marketing initiatives is essential, working alongside editorial, PR and other marketing channels to keep platforms updated with relevant, and engaging content. You be an integral part of the Creative team and will work closely to partner with our internal teams - merchandising, marketing, PR, technology to create campaigns that drive excitement, whilst delivering on brand messages in a channel appropriate way. Most importantly, you will live and breathe social media, from photography and video to people and words.
Identify and evolve a distinct brand voice and aesthetic that is authentic and consistent across social platforms, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
Define and map out a cohesive social media strategy inclusive of brand-driving and sales-driving initiatives, be data driven and highly analytical in order to build traffic and grow an engaged audience.
Partner with Creative Director and Creative team (Art Directors and Graphic Designers) to conceptualize and design monthly content that are compelling and visually rich stories across priority social channels including Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
Concept supplemental channel-specific content needs and develop plan for brand engagement in real-time cultural conversations that reinforce relevancy.
Partner with Marketing to develop partnerships that create content uniquely for deployment and amplification on social platforms to ensure 360 messaging, brand positioning and perception.
Oversee the social media calendar, updating key business stakeholders on activities, results, wins and losses, while also ensuring alignment with key business initiatives that reinforce key brand moments.
Establish KPIs and goals to measure success and develop weekly and monthly reporting to be shared cross-functionally
Provide ongoing analysis, key insights and recommendations to optimize performance of social media and re-inform various areas of the business
Identify emerging trends and lead efforts to capitalize on new features and innovation within social media channels
Translate social sentiment and engagement into strategic insights to help inform content strategy
Partner with Customer Care to oversee customer service messaging and responses across key channels
Stay abreast of the social media landscape, developments, and trends
Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the brand s product, customer and policies

Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media or related field experience
Some travel required.
